Jom Makan! @ Bistro Delifrance, Sungei Wang Plaza (Tuesday, 22nd April 2008)

Salam,
Today Ummi and I went to Dataran Maybank in Bangsar to settle some matters pertaining to her insurance. Since Ummi was also an employee for Aseam Bankers in Menara Aseam, so she had a small reunion with her old friends whom are now working in Dataran Maybank. My second cousin, Kak Yati, who is also working there treated us for lunch at the cafeteria. What else, yeah Kak Yati and Ummi's friends checked out my website and blog too at their office hehe :p

After that, we went to Sungei Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang just to do some window shopping. After a few hours there we got hungry again, so I offered Ummi to treat her with some snacks (heavy snacks really :p) at Bistro Delifrance at the concourse area. I know that Delifrance is a synonym name among Malaysians, but I just like to share my most favourite dish here.

The cashier area

Sweet & good quality pastry and bread sold at reasonable prices

Ok now let's do some serious Jom Makan! presentation hehe :p

Apple Juice
RM 6.50
Me: Another ordinary tasty apple juice. I don't like it's price though, they just bought some apple juice in a box, pour it in a glass and charges me RM 6.50. The amount is also little, you cannot really quench your thirst from the drinks you order at nice eating places. Seriously the Jus Buah Gelas Besar (Large Glass Fruit Juice) at Deen's Tomyam, Kubur (Gombak) is wayyyyy more satisfying. And that costs me at RM 2.50 only.

Iced Peach Tea
RM 5.90
Ummi: Any Iced Peach Tea from the packet.

Slurrp!

Chicken Pasta Soup with Garlic Bread
Ummi : This really tastes more like Tomato Soup.
Me: Yes, did they put a wrong sign for soup of the day? Anyway I don't enjoy it that much.

Seafood Mayo Croissant
RM 15.90
Ummi: The seafood is rich in portion and taste. The salad portion is huge, haven for vege lovers.
Me: Yes tasty, and their croissants are always very crispy and tender. Nice filling as well.

Yah yah makan makan (eat eat) ! Haha Ummi looks so comel (cute) like a hungry toddler about to devour her lunch.

Homemade Beef Lasagna
RM 15.50

Me: Ya Allah sedapnya!! (My God it's so delicious!) I love it's creamy texture, rich in beef chunks, and the layers of cheese and pasta are awesome! Seriously, this is my most favourite beef lasagna in town! I love the chicken lasagna too but it could not beat the beef. And the best part of it, it is always served really hot making the whole dish PERFECT!
Ummi: Yes yes you love it but don't ignore the salad.
Me: Urgh salad :(

Suraya yang gembira dengan lasagnanya (One happy Suraya with her lasagna)
Service rating : Friendly and efficient. As for the prices, there are 5% Government Tax and 10% Service Tax.

By the way, for more amusement of my readers, this is a car I spotted at the parking lot when we were leaving. Christina Aguilera in a provoking attire airbrushed all over the car, so don't blame yourselves (especially if you're a straight guy) if you are involved in a traffic accident after you have a glimpse of this on the road while driving. *shaking my head*
