Tonight after the wedding reception, the bride's family held a family gathering cum BBQ Party. Since the event was smaller, my client wanted her face to rest a bit by not wearing fake eyelashes. She still had to do proper make-up since although it was only a family gathering, still her husband insisted her to dress up for each and every event and he chose mostly everything from the clothes to the make-up (isn't she lucky? =)).
As for tonight's event their theme was Western Man & Wife and while her husband wore a shirt and formal jacket, she wore a princess-like white dress complete with net veil. I just love to see how her husband pampered her, you know I really love when a man is co-operative in making his wife beautiful. The night started with cake-cutting session but it was amusing when the children sang the 'Happy Birthday' song. It was getting more hillarious since the elder members of the family really had a riot during the presents-opening session. The closest family members even made some serious jokes by giving them really weird gifts like Maggi instant noodles, Petai, a toy machine gun and even toy Ultraman with lengthy, hillarious letters explaining the rationale of each gift. Truly the night was warm and fun with true family bonding.
