Jom Makan! Ice Cream @ Baskin Robbins, Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara (November 2011)

Assalamualaikum Readers,

We are done with dinner so it is now dessert time! Haha Mieza & I are not much of sweet-tooth persons but once in awhile would be no problem. I was craving for Baskin' Robbins ice cream but desserts without a friend would not be fun, thus when Mieza said she was craving to try it I was definitely on! =D

Since Sunway Giza was really nearby Mieza's crib so we just head for a BR branch there. For those who never went to Sunway Giza, I like the concept which is a roofed but open air and environmental friendly shopping mall (but mostly locates interesting eating joints & restaurants). Why did I say environmental friendly? Because it does not use any air-conditioner but instead use giant fans on the ceiling which are pretty cool looking as well.

As usual, even on the ads, Baskin Robbins is famous for their ice cream cakes delicacies. Actually for my birthdays when I was younger, Ayah never bought BR's ice cream cakes but we did have ice cream cakes from Haagen Dazs and those were incredibly tasty, I bet BR's should taste just as good if not better. Anyways, I just love the fun looking designs! =)

This should look really tempting for chocolate lovers out there.

Yup, this was our order. We shared of course or else we could have puked anytime. Ok Suraya such a distasteful choice of word on this supposed to be yummy entry. 

2 scoops Sundae to share. Praline & Cream & Raspberry  Cheesecake. It was simmered with Hot Fudge  & Chocolate Sprinkles. RM 12 if not mistaken. Oh I hate it if I am not sure of the exact price.

I really like the guy who served us, he's very suggestive. I love cherries and I was quite offended when he said, don't get the cherries because they taste awful. I was stubborn so he gave me at the end, and truthfully the cherries tasted like MEDICINE. YUCK.

Baskin Robbins ice cream are great, those 2 flavours we ordered are my most favourites. Oh yes one of the staff there on that night got a pretty scolding from his supervisor/manager/owner about the ice cream cakes. He was being loudly given instructions and corrections in front of the customers. I mean I understand the superior's intention to serve the customers the best way possible, but please, if you want to be that loud, not in front of the customers please. It disturbed the customers' experience there.
