This pretty girl here was my classmate in Form 5 when we were both studying at MRSM Kuala Kubu Bharu. I always like her since this Kelantanese is not only very soft spoken but also a very sweet friend.

She is a student of Islamic Banking at UiTM Shah Alam but at the same time she is also very enterprising such as selling clothes at her online boutique. The clothes at her boutique are for chic young ladies all brought from Bangkok, Thailand. Not only that, she alsom loves modelling and would like to get more modelling jobs as well as acting.

However her real ambition is to become a stewardess, a career that she will pursue after she has completed her studies.

As for this make-up here, since Eani has the sweet, feminine Thai features, I wanted her to look sweet and adorable and this make-up inspired from the feminine Japanese Kawaii look.

Buchuk's Merdeka Dinner @Bandar Baru Selayang (Friday, 31st August 2007)

Salam,

On the 50th Merdeka celebration of my beloved Malaysia, one of my closest friend in MRSM KKB, Firdaus or better known as Buchuk (meaning smelly but seriously he’s not smelly) returned home from his university in Germany where he studies engineering. Coincidentally many of my ex-schoolmates whom study overseas returned home to Malaysia since they were on holidays.

Buchuk as many known as the leader who likes to initiate and execute the ideas in having a reunion among us invited a few of his close friends to his home for a dinner. As for me, meeting my old schoolmates always gives me this nervous feeling like “ Hey I am not so close with this group or that group.” and “ Hmm I don’t think it’s a good idea to go and join them, I bet I’ll be stunned in silence.” because for those who know me, actually I am only kind of outspoken and friendly when the situation requires me to do so. I am not naturally super bubbly or outgoing, I am more of the quiet type I must admit ( though this fact would not be agreed by those who are super close to me).

However since I really was fond of Buchuk like my own brother ( he helped me A LOT in so many ways in high school, especially to be my mentor in Add Maths which disappointingly for him I guess I was always too dumb to make it :p ) and I am close with his amazingly adorable and funny girlfriend whom I regard as my younger sister Nazifah aka Cipi. Yes in boarding schools, you could never escape having your own nickname which are not even desirable to you, awarded by your friends. It is pretty astonishing I figure to actually inquire the roots of how all these nicknames ever existed at the first place anyway. The ‘smartest’ nickname I guess was Jamal’s ‘J. Lo’. It seriously has nothing to do with Jennifer Lopez if you might think that he was a fan, but he attained it because his name is Jamal, and he was a leader in the boys’ hostel so by 11pm he would call out to all the students “Lights Off! Lights Off!” Yup couldn’t be any weirder :p

Ok coming back to the dinner (please forgive my wandering thoughts which control my fingers in typing) it was pretty nice actually. I mean there was Hidayah coming back from Ireland where she studies Medicine obviously, Zubaidah (Che Bedah.. hehe coming to think of it Bedah in Malay means Operate.. it’s like a coincident that she is learning Medicine as well, and man by this point when I met her, she has involved in the birth of 4 babies already in the O.R.. awesome..kind of like me Suraya aka Sue .. thus I am doing laws to sue people I guess :p ), Amy and some other boys like Faiq and Zaid. Ok Faiq has like this creepy sense of humour where once in school I was so unfortunate to be in the same Chemistry group with him, Omar and Afifi, Omar and him was teasing me in a more bullying way till I cried, while Afifi who was laughing along the way got nervous when I cried just left the place. Coming to thing back, living in a boarding school is the best growing experience for me, everybody was your brother and sister be it in a good or the most annoying way, still it would be the best.

Alright, at the dinner, it was nice to meet them even though it was a small gathering. Buchuk’s close relatives were also there and there were also very warm and friendly. They prepared typical but tasty Malaysian delicacies like fried rice, curry noodles, roti jala, fried chicken and some kuih-muih (Malay cakes). The boys could not believe that the red-headed girl with me was my sister, because before this they always saw her as a little girl but now she’s all grown up. Buchuk’s relatives on the other hand were interested about my make-up work so I got all heated up in explaining to them. :p

When the night ended, I was glad to be there and I couldn’t wait to join them and more kids from school the next day for a BBQ picnic at Sungai Kedondong nearby Ulu Yam; which is coincidentally nearby to our school in the small town of Kuala Kubu Bharu. Again I was indecisive to meet more kids from school, still I had a good feeling insya Allah I would have a good time there. Just wait for my update in The REAL CurHat Sue! =)

Sarah's Farewell Thanksgiving Ceremony @ Klang (25th August 2007)

My good friend from MRSM KKB, Sarah has finally completed her diploma in Quantity Surveying in UiTM Shah Alam. Lucky her, her parents decided to send her resume her degree in Manchester, UK. So she invited a few close friends to her farewell kenduri in her home in Klang.

She used to live in Shah Alam, but has moved to Klang for a few years. Since her parents are both Architecture lecturers in UiTM Shah Alam, they designed their own home, which resulted into a very cosy Balinese design home, and it was nearby to the beach, how awesome is that? :)

I went with my sis (who else that I would always ask to tag along, she practically follows me everywhere) and Cipi, another classmate in MRSM joined us. Man the journey was like the longest as far as I could remember, yes I drove out of KL before, but this journey was tiring man. However we were lucky, we thought we were late, departed at around after Isya' but reached her house at about 10pm...and best of all, by the time we came, it was time for makan.. heh heh.

It was ok, a small affair but quite packed anyway. I chatted with Cipi (Nazifah), Ara (Sarah) and Zack (Zuraida).. typical ex-boarding school students, we would always have peculiar nicknames.. but I was too headstrong for any of my guy friends to have any room to give me weird nicknames.

To Sarah, may you study well there, pass with flying colours, and be safe and happy all the time insya Allah. I know you hate to hear this, but please send my regards to Rooney if you happen to bump into him, Heh!
