Malam Penghargaan Gimnast Wilayah Persekutuan @ Royale Chulan Hotel, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur (Friday, 22nd January 2010)
Salam,
Ok I am not very interested to write too much on this post, but I want to thank my cousin Kak Nurul for treating us tonight (especially to watch her daughter, my sweet niece Misha to perform gymnastics that night). We had Chinese dinner which was nice but seriously no matter how delicious the menu was, I still could not comprehend the idea of eating rice last and not together with the other dishes. As a proud Malay, rice should be eaten with the rest of the dishes, not individually. *sigh*
Yes I also want to congratulate the Wilayah Persekutuan of Kuala Lumpur's gymansts be it the junior or senior ones for being so disciplined for this form of a combo of performance arts and sports. You guys and gals really rocked the performances for the night. Also to Farah Anuar or Farah Breep Breep for being so bubbly singing Miley Cyrus's The Climb and her own Gembiranya Hati Ini that really cheered up the young gymnasts.
And a special thanks to Wakaka Crew lead by Alam the champion of So You Think You Can Dance? that were being so friendly to my mum and I in the elevator to the parking lot. I was really shy when they were walking behind us that I could not even utter that they were awesome. Then we were in the same elevator, I blurted out "Korang kan yang perform tadi (It was you guys right that performed just now?)" They beamed and answered yes, then I said they really rocked. They hooted happily and one of them said, "Kepuasan anda matlamat kami! (your satisfaction is our aim!)" Hahaha, then he said to me, please add us on Facebook and he spelt Wakaka Crew to me. Then when I was driving, we passed by them on their motorcycles, they honked and waved at us. =) Oh so so happy... then I of course I added them on Facebook and religiously watched them on Londeh at TV9. Hopefully they'll go international one day amin... =)
