Salam,
It was really nice to have my boyfriend to accompany me to my first independent beauty workshop in Unitar Kelana Jaya, in fact to most of my make-up jobs when my mother, sister or a girlfriend could not accompany me. He was the one carrying all my heavy load (which boyfriend wouldn't? ;)) and the least showed he was out of place. Instead he was being all supportive by snapping photos during the event, though I could understand that from time to time he just settled himself on a couch to have a nap. I truly appreciatte for what you have done (especially on the fact that never once you complain of having to accompany me.. in fact it's really nice to have you as a friend, lover and bodyguard to accompany me), thank you sayang.
After the event, we went for lunch at Mid Valley Mega Mall's The Chicken Rice Shop (the price is OK but I think the roasted chicken is always a bit too dry, I recommend Linda Onn's My Mom Chicken Rice for both taste, portion size and price). So we waited...
Then suddenly we saw this angel in a small package staring at us... with wide innocent eyes and tiny lovely lips..
Suhail, as usual could not sit still if he sees a kid around. He immediately started to make gestures toward this toddler, making funny faces to attract his attention. It was adorable to see the baby kept looking at him. Suhail smiled to the parents, a young friendly couple, and asked permission to play with their adorable baby. They smiled in approval and they told us the baby's name is Muhammad/ Mohd. Iz. Such a simple name but unique. It triggered my thoughts on the name of the National Poet (couldn't quite find the translation for sasterawan, credits to my poor vocabulary) Tan Sri A. Samad Said's son's name, Muhammad Az. The reason for the name as I read somewhere, A-Z consists of everything on earth, be it good or bad. It also reminds me of how my tuition teacher when I was 14 told the class, it's good for anyone to have a short and better unique name, so that it would be easily remembered by everybody. And Muhammad Iz, I like the name.
So my boyfriend held Muhammad Iz, played with him and murmured words to him adoringly, so I just left the two of them in their own world, while snapping their photos in silent. I love men who love kids, it really shows father figure in them and the tenderness within their manly exterior.
Then after having our lunch, we said goodbye to Muhammad Iz and his parents, bidding them thanks for allowing us to play with their beautiful child. My sayang, always so emotional over things, beamed at me and said, " They are such a nice couple jigar! I truly pray for them happiness and to be blessed by Allah." Oh sayang I've melted... truly.
