This time Ummi, Nana & I packed our bags for my bridal make-up jobs in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Initially my client wanted us to stay at one of the government's rest houses, however due to the many weddings on the Christmas holidays, the rest houses were fully booked. Since Kuala Kangsar is only a small town, she only managed to have us stay at Hotel & Restoran Seri Kangsar. She again and again apologised to me for not providing me with a better hotel, but for me seriously I did not mind. My intention is not to burden my clients with the request of accomodation, just as long as the hotel is clean, comfortable and located nearby with my client's place, that is sufficient enough for me.
I did not know the rate because my client has settled the payment in advance. Just that I made a face when the owner of the hotel in a demanding tone informed us, "Make sure to check out by 12pm sharp." I mean oh come on, this is no Ritz Carlton, try to show more courtesy to your guests please.
Our room; 1 Queen-size bed and 1 Single-size bed. Old-school looking blanket, so Destinasi Budget ;)
Alright, our bedroom is small but fine enough, there is a TV and air-cond. The bathroom is clean just that the bedroom is a bit dusty especially on top of the dressing table and TV. They provided us with complimentary mineral water and some cheap bathing soap so thank you. Oh yes, our bedroom was on the second floor but there was no tiny elevator whatsoever so it was quite a challenging climb for Ummi especially when we had to carry our load upstairs.
My sister, Deena. I suggest this photo to be submitted for the pen-pal section of URTV, Media Hiburan or Mangga :P
Hmmmm..... considering which magazine to choose..maybe all 3?
The bathroom.
So of course Hotel Seri Kangsar is more of a budget hotel, but our stay here was fine and there is nothing serious for us to complain.
